Pretty informative and interesting,I follow this diet to a degree but, I definitely like spicy foods! It all seems reasonable, but I have to admit I enjoy a bit of red meat sometimes! As for me personally I feel as long as I eat whole foods in their natural state and a bit of meat, and don’t smoke or take drugs, practice Qigong and wushu daily,I am in state of pretty vibrant health, probably in the best shape of my life even at 52!I’m pretty sure thought I could follow the Taoist diet, thanks for the report!

Thanks for posting about the taoist diet; after reading it I’ve come to the realization that I tend to follow this way of eating naturally to a certain degree. I also agree with Francesco though about the spicy foods and red meat! For those of you who have committed to this type of diet, how much of a change was it for you? How long did it take to make the full commitment? Just curious.
